The Senior Director General Counsel Asia (not including Greater China or India) is the senior leader for legal operations in Asia responsible for driving the departments efficiency managing strategic initiatives and aligning legal support with Vertivs global business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Asia legal operations including legal compliance and governance functions. Oversees all legal matters including commercial contracts M&A litigation and corporate governance.
• Acts as a strategic advisor to the Asia President and to the Chief Legal Officer and Asia senior management
• Build scalable processes to improve legal team effectiveness.
• Represents legal operations in cross-functional leadership discussions.
• Identifies manages and mitigates legal and regulatory risks affecting the business.
• Leads and develops the inhouse legal team and manages external counsel.
• Supports business strategy by enabling informed riskbalanced decisionmaking.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree required;
• 15 years experience in legal operations business operations or legal leadership.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical project management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead at a global scale and influence across functions.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Up to 25%.
