Job Summary

  1. Own the full set of accounts monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements across all entities.
  2. Consolidate group results including intercompany eliminations and multi-entity reporting.
  3. Drive the monthly and year-end close covering accruals provisions revenue recognition and balance-sheet reconciliations.
  4. Compile budgets forecasts cash-flow projections and variance analysis for senior management.
  5. Oversee corporate tax GST payroll-related reporting and other statutory submissions.
  6. Liaise with external auditors tax agents bankers and professional service providers through to sign-off.
  7. Institute accounting policies approval workflows and internal financial controls suited to a scaling business.
  8. Evaluate revenue operating costs margins and unit economics and translate findings into commercial recommendations.
  9. Produce financial packs and models for investors shareholders and Board discussions including fundraising and due diligence exercises.
  10. Guide and develop a small finance team while remaining hands-on with critical accounting activities.


Requirements
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related discipline with a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA (Singapore) ACCA CPA Australia or ICAEW or nearing completion.
  2. Minimum 7 to 10 years of accounting and finance experience of which at least 3 years were spent in a senior accounting finance manager or financial controller capacity.
  3. Strong command of SFRS and IFRS Singapore tax and statutory compliance group consolidation financial modelling and accounting platforms such as Xero QuickBooks NetSuite SAP or Oracle alongside advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  4. Track record of overseeing audits budgets forecasts and cash flow across several entities or business units ideally within technology fintech maritime healthcare or other fast-growing sectors.
  5. Sound judgement with confidential information clear communication of financial matters to non-finance stakeholders and the confidence to raise risks and challenge unsupported assumptions early.
