Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Control (QC) Inspector (With CMM Experience) in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Precision Engineering / Manufacturing sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. - Perform dimensional and visual inspections on manufactured components.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment for accurate measurement verification.
- Interpret engineering drawings specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct incoming in-process and final quality inspections.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Identify non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and measuring equipment.
- CMM Operation Hands-on experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines.
- Engineering Drawings Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Quality Inspection Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections.
- Precision Measuring Tools Skilled in using verniers micrometers height gauges and related instruments.
- Manufacturing Quality Control Understanding of quality processes within precision engineering environments.
- Knowledge of GD&T standards.
- Experience with quality documentation and reporting.
- Exposure to ISO quality systems.
Candidates should possess 34 years of relevant experience in quality inspection within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience operating CMM equipment and handling precision measurement activities is mandatory. Applicants should be capable of working independently and supporting quality assurance processes.
- Minimum: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field (Typical)
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Additional: Quality Inspection or Metrology Certifications (Typical)
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
