Job Summary

Description

As a PRS sales lead you will

  • Manage a team of underwriters and be responsible for overall underwriting tasks to achieve PRS portfolios profitability and growth targets which includes Masterpiece & Standalone Jewellery products. This includes reviewing New Business submissions and renewal reviews that requires higher levels of authority and when necessary to submit referrals for regional review.

  • Provide high quality recommendations when underwriting risks which are evaluated as a profitable business opportunity for Chubb

  • Provide guidance supervision training and mentorship to the PRS team

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure end to end (from underwriting to policy issuance) processes run up to expected standard and SLA.

  • Maintain close rapport and relationship with distribution channels (agents brokers direct group sponsor and bancassurance partners) to encourage the submission of targeted business to achieve new business growth and healthy retention rates. This includes training the producers.

  • Work with Business development team and distribution channels to identify and prospect new partnerships and farming opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Responsible for PRS reports management and analysis of revenue and profitability data

  • Identify and roll out campaigns that support cross-sell opportunities across Chubb

  • Perform special projects and other related duties to enhance business growth



Qualifications

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Bachelors Degree Business Degree with at least 8 years relevant experience
  • Possess with relevant Insurance qualifications or equivalent
  • Demonstrated Personal Lines underwriting ability and technical competence as evidenced by a minimum of 5 years professional experience at underwriting level or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within designated authority
  • Experience in Product Development and Implementation.
  • Experience in constructing portfolio analysis (P&Ls trend mapping performance reviews) evaluating the results and providing recommended actions/feedback.
  • Solid experience of dealing with multipledistribution channels (agents brokers direct group sponsor and bancassurance partners)
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with external and internal (Chubb personnel locally and regionally) stakeholders
  • Good understanding and working knowledge the insurance market
