This is an exciting opportunity as a Product Designer supporting the continued growth and evolution of Pratt & Whitneys AI-powered digital inspection this role you will lead the end-to-end product design process for innovative software products that enhance engine inspection reporting and customer experience across the global aftermarket network. If you are passionate about transforming complex user needs into intuitive digital experiences through data-driven design and emerging technologies this may be the opportunity youve been looking for.

You will report directly to the Product Manager and work closely with Engineering Data Science and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable digital solutions. This is a critical role supporting the continued growth of Pratt & Whitneys digital product portfolio by improving product usability accelerating solution delivery and delivering exceptional customer experiences through user-centered design and continuous innovation.

What You Will Do

• Analyze user behaviour and product analytics (e.g. PostHog Google Analytics) to identify opportunities to improve product usability and customer experience.

• Translate user insights into wireframes mock-ups high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma and AI-assisted design tools.

• Develop maintain and enhance the enterprise design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure efficient design-to-development handoff and implementation.

• Conduct user interviews usability testing and customer engagement activities to validate product decisions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and deliver customer-centric solutions.

• Continuously improve product experiences through iterative design data-driven decision making and Agile development practices.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Product Design Human-Computer Interaction Interaction Design or related discipline.

• 6 years of experience in SaaS Product Design UX/UI Design or related field.

• Advanced proficiency with Figma design systems and component libraries.

• Experience using analytics tools to inform design decisions.

• Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile product development environments.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience designing enterprise or aviation software products.

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools and modern prototyping workflows.

• Knowledge of design systems accessibility and user-centred design best practices.

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.
