Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Mechanical Designer in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. - Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Develop machinery designs based on project requirements.
- Prepare production-ready technical documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams for design execution.
- Support product development initiatives and design improvements.
- Review designs for manufacturability and quality compliance.
- Maintain revision control and documentation standards.
- SolidWorks Advanced 3D modeling and drafting.
- Mechanical Design Design of components and assemblies.
- Machinery Design Experience with industrial equipment preferred.
- Technical Drawings Creation of manufacturing drawings.
- Documentation Preparation of engineering documentation.
- Design optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Basic project coordination experience.
Candidates should have experience in mechanical design and drafting environments. Experience in machinery design is preferred. Typical experience range for this role is 26 years in mechanical design using CAD platforms.
- Minimum: Diploma / B.E. / in Mechanical Engineering (Typical)
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional: CAD or SolidWorks certifications preferred
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
