Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Math Tutor to provide engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students at Secondary Junior College (JC) and International Baccalaureate (IB) levels.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Mathematics lessons according to each students level and learning needs.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly and simplify challenging topics.
- Provide guidance on homework assignments tests and exam preparation.
- Identify students strengths and areas for improvement and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Track students progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Build students confidence and encourage independent problem-solving skills.
- Manage class size of about 6-10 students
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics at Secondary JC and/or IB levels.
- Relevant teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Familiar with Singapore School Curriculum
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient responsible and able to engage students effectively.
