  • Working with the Senior Manager for APAC Insights to drive and deliver the end to end research journeys for LEGO brand and portfolio across APAC markets in close partnership with regional and global strategic priorities

  • Work as a true partner (agile flexible mature willing to challenge) with Global Insights Business Partners and internal stakeholders to map insights and research needs that are in line with and further supports our understanding of key markets in APAC

  • Demonstrate expertise in impactful storytelling through data and insights

  • Work in an agile squad working closely with Business Partners other Research Leads in the Center of Excellence external research partners and Data Platforms teams to maximise existing research assets and land impactful progressive and forward thinking recommendations via primary research in both APAC and beyond

  • Become an active member of Marketing Center of Excellence research team to bring best in class learnings on bringing markets to life through insights

  • Collaborate with external research partners using and extending key partnerships to match relevant research approaches to our work

  • Leverage a deep understanding of Asian audiences and markets to proactively influence global direction and elevate best practices within the Global Insights community

  • Be a change agent together with the rest of Global Insights as we succeed together in building a world-class insights engine for the LEGO Group.

Global Insights is a large centralized insights engine within the LEGO Group consisting of different teams working across multiple research areas e.g. concept content product & marketing innovation research go-to-market research performance and brand tracking. Our vision is to shape the future of the LEGO brand through inspiring and enabling transformational action. We enable this through impactful insights and partnership with the business across the marketing value chain.

This Manager position will sit in a Center of Excellence team playing a critical role in executing research projects that enable insights-led decision making. There is a Senior Manager who is also based in Singapore and will help to coach and develop the person coming into this role.

Do you have what it takes

  • Strategic thinker who understands how insights can be actionable and transformational

  • 5 years of relevant experience from a research agency consultancy or insights management function in an innovative fast-paced company with a good working knowledge of research across APAC markets

  • Robust ability to work across teams departments and cultures globally locally and sometimes across time zones. 20-40 days of travel can be expected.

  • Relevant business acumen and passion to bridge this with generated insights for optimal impact on the business

  • Ability to translate business needs into impactful and innovative insights journeys

  • Leads with empathy and acts as a true collaborator We Win mindset!

  • Playful and finding ways to unlock playfulness in their surroundings

  • Is comfortable presenting and English language skills on a business level

Nice to have:

  • Experienced and comfortable in adopting agile and flexible ways of working - able to adjust to multiple demands shifting business priorities and rapid change

  • Previous experience working with toys games and research with children an advantage

  • True collaborator who will become an active contributor in a team that is geographically diverse

  • Be an active member of local hub initiatives - contributing to the culture of the Singapore Hub and connecting to the wider GI community
