The Technology team is building a deliberate data-driven marketing apparatus to nurture leads convertprospectsand grow BGAs technology pipeline. This intern will sit at the center of that effort.

Position Summary

BGAseeksa highly motivated intern to join the Technology business development team in Singapore. The intern will work directly with senior members of the Tech BD team supporting research client-facingdeliverablesand operational coordination across BGAs largest technology accounts. This is a substantive role designed for a candidate pursuing or holding a graduate degree in international affairs or a related discipline who wants hands-on exposure to technology policy and government affairs across the Indo-Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on technology policy and regulatory developments across the Indo-Pacific including AI governance online safety semiconductors digital infrastructurecybersecurityand digital trade.

• Draft read-aheads briefing memos and talking points for senior BGA leadership ahead of client andprospectmeetings.

• Support the development of scopes of workproposalsand pitch materials.

• Contribute to BGAs flagship regional research products including the State of AI Policy report the Online Safety Tracker the AI-Generated Content Labelling Tracker the Data Center Investmentreportand the Indo-Pacific Forecast.

• Track legislativeregulatoryand political developments across BGAs priority technology markets and synthesize implications for clients.

• Attend Singapore-based industry briefingseventsand association meetings; prepare readouts for the broader team.

• Maintain and update Salesforce records including contacts accountnotesand engagement history.

• Support the Tech BD team on internal coordination including analyst huddles weekly team callagendasand offsitelogistics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a graduate degree in international affairs public policy public affairs area studiesjournalismor a related field; outstanding undergraduate candidates with equivalent experience considered.

• Demonstrated interest in technology policy the Indo-Pacific region and/or government affairs consulting.

• Strong research analytical and writing skills in English;proficiencyin an Asian language is a plus.

• Comfort managing multiple workstreams under deadline pressure.

• Self-motivated detail-orientedand collegial; able to take direction from multiple stakeholders.

• Authorization to work in Singapore.

Logistics

• Location: Singapore (in-office hybrid schedule).

• Duration: One semester with potential to extend.

• Reports to: SeniorDirectorTechnology.
