Job Summary

Accor is in partnership with one of the worlds leading airlines managing the Lounge operations at Changi Airport. We are seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our team.

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading and managing housekeeping operations within the lounge to ensure a consistently clean safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees. The role oversees housekeeping standards manpower planning quality assurance inventory control and compliance with health safety and airport regulations. The Housekeeping Manager plays a key role in maintaining premium lounge standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations across all lounges and back-of-house areas ensuring exceptional cleanliness hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Oversee and develop housekeeping teams including workforce planning training coaching performance management and employee engagement.
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience by maintaining a clean comfortable and welcoming lounge environment and addressing guest concerns promptly.
  • Drive quality assurance and compliance through regular inspections audits SOP implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage housekeeping inventory and assets including supplies amenities linen chemicals and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety health hygiene and airport operational requirements including risk management chemical handling and corrective action implementation.

Qualifications :

  • At least 4 years experience of Housekeeping operations within hospitality hotels premium lounges healthcare or facilities management environments.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading housekeeping teams
  • Relevant job-related WSQ certification i.e. Chemical handling
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations cleaning methodologies and sanitation standards.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals equipment and safe handling practices.
  • Familiarity with manpower planning workforce scheduling and productivity management.
  • Experience managing outsourced housekeeping contractors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement capabilities. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and work cohesively in a multicultural team.
  • Able to work shifts weekends and public holidays
