Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in evolving the Asia regions operating model into a strong future-focused foundation. This leader will oversee cross-functional programs spanning financial operational organizational and technology-focused projects. By leveraging data analytics and sound judgment you will deliver immediate results while steering strategic transformation for the medium and long term. You will also manage a team of project managers and data analysts to drive continuous improvement and ensure that the Asia region is positioned for the next chapter of the companys growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Transformation & Evolution
    • Drive the evolution of the Asia regions operating model establishing a resilient scalable framework that supports long-term growth.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and regional stakeholders to shape strategic priorities ensuring alignment with the overarching vision for the companys next chapter.
    • Continually assess market trends emerging technologies and best practices to adapt and refine the regions structure processes and capabilities.
  • Financial Management & Analysis
    • Conduct financial analyses (e.g. cost-benefit ROI) to validate project feasibility and return on investment.
    • Partner with Finance teams to identify revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities and enable data-driven decisions for regional stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Lead initiatives to optimize workflows standardize processes and improve and standardize overall operational effectiveness across Asia.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) to measure the success of transformed processes and evolving operations.
  • Project & Program Management
    • Direct large-scale cross-functional projects that underpin the transformation and evolution of the Asia regions operating model.
    • Define project scopes timelines and deliverables for project managers.
    • Manage risks and remove obstacles to achieving tangible improvements.
  • Data Analytics & Insights
    • Utilize data analytics to shape transformation strategies uncover optimization opportunities and guide day-to-day decision-making.
    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards reports and data models that support continuous improvement and predictive analytics.
    • Champion the adoption of new data tools technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the evolving Asia operating model.
  • Organizational Leadership & Team Development
    • Mentor and develop a team of project managers and data analytics professionals; nurture a collaborative culture that innovates with speed.
    • Identify and address skill gaps encouraging upskilling and professional growth to support the regions evolving requirements.
    • Foster a climate of knowledge sharing and best-practice exchange empowering teams to drive the transformation agenda.
  • Technology & Innovation
    • Partner with tech teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance quality and scalability.
    • Support the regions adoption of platforms tools and processes that support the evolving operating model ensuring seamless integration and user acceptance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
    • Act as a key liaison between executive regional product and functional leaders aligning on transformation goals and milestones.
    • Clearly communicate progress risks and opportunities related to the evolving operating model to senior executives and other stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams suppliers and clients to facilitate partnership and alignment on future initiatives.

You should have:
  • 10 years of experience in strategy operations management consulting or business transformation roles ideally within logistics supply chain or a related high-growth industry.
  • Experience at a top-tier investment bank or management consultancy strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in cost-benefit analysis ROI modeling and partnering with Finance on revenue and cost initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and scaling operating models workflows KPIs and SLAs across a multi-country or regional organization.
  • Skilled in program and project management with the ability to define scope manage timelines and mitigate risk across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Strong data analytics fluency including experience building or overseeing dashboards reporting and data models to drive decision-making (SQL or BI tool experience a plus).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing senior executives and aligning cross-functional and regional leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team setting clear direction and empowering people to take ownership while fostering a culture of development.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving change management across a fast-evolving matrixed organization.
  • Deep understanding of the Asia business landscape and market dynamics; regional language skills are a plus.
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
