"Global Ops Academy" Workforce Development Regional Lead

Role Summary:
The Global Ops Academy (GOA)Workforce DevelopmentLeadis responsible forthe deployment and management of the global apprentice and intern program at the local this role the Lead manages apprentices and serves as the primarytrainingcontact forbothinternsand apprentices. The Lead is also the main point of contact for apprentices interns local operations teams and external educational partners. The role ensures thatlocal program standards are met and in alignment withglobal programstandardsensuring consistentand positive experiencesfor all participants in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Responsibilities Apprenticeship

• Manage local apprentices and provide ongoing guidance and support throughout the apprenticeship periodfrom onboarding to offboarding or conversion to afull-timeposition in Equinix operations.

• Implement and manage the global apprenticeOnboarding andtraining program locally in alignment with global guidelines and timelines.

• Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and delivery of On-the-Job Trainings (OJT) and Skills Assessments (OCLs) in partnership with theGOAregional training manager and field instructors.

• Coordinate LMS activity and act as the point of contact for program participants including assignments andtrackingofprogress.

• Support regional curricula alignment.

• Managelogisticsof programevents including graduation ceremony socials and Open House demos.

• Manage and forecast the region-level training budget.

• Facilitate regular program assessments and check-ins tomonitorprogress and engagement.

• Assistapprenticespreparation ofexternal certifications and exams.

• Support performance remediation and individual improvement plans.

• Assign technicalmentorandbuddy.

• Interface with local educational institutions to provide requiredEquinixdocumentation in support of apprenticeship graduation

Regional Responsibilities Internship

• Serve as the primary local training touchpoint for interns and provide support where necessary.

• Implement and manage the global internOnboarding andtraining program locally in alignment with global guidelines and timelines.

• Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and delivery ofCustomer Operations and Critical FacilitiesOn-the-Job Trainings (OJT) and Skills Assessments (OCLs) in partnership with theGOAregional training manager and field instructors.

• Coordinate LMS activity and act as the point of contact for program participants including assignments andtrackingofprogress.

• Managelogisticsofevents including graduation ceremony socials and Open House demos.

• Supports theassignment oftechnicalmentorandbuddy.

Partnership Management Responsibilities Apprentices

• Maintain relationships with local colleges training providers and external partners.

• Align school curriculum and local training requirements with the internal program.

• Coordinate and ensure compliance with school-required assessments reporting and check-ins.

• Provide external training results for internal reporting viainternal tools.

• Engage withWorkforce Development global lead andITS to ensure strategic program alignment across all global programs for external partnerships.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensurealllocal regulatory compliance

• Provide insights for improvement and gather feedback from participants including end-of-cohort feedback.

• Maintain understanding and overview of reporting and dashboards.

Content Creation / Instructional Design Support

• Support the GOA LXD (InstructionalLearning ExperienceDesign) team withthecreation of learning content by providing knowledge reviewing materials and giving feedback.

• Support translation efforts for learning content.

Communications and Engagement Responsibilities

• Act as the key liaison between Global Operations (GOA) and Local Operations to ensure seamless communication and program alignment.

• Work closely with team leaders and department managers to support apprentice and intern integration into daily operations.
