Job Description

The Sales Executive will lead the sales efforts for our portfolio of veterinary products in the Singapore market. This role requires a strong background in veterinary science or healthcare exceptional communication skills and the ability to understand and meet market needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth while providing essential technical and scientific information to support product development and engage with veterinary practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical and Scientific Support

  • Provide technical and scientific information for new product development and registration purposes to veterinary professionals.

  • Act as a resource for veterinarians by delivering accurate and relevant product information that aids them in making informed recommendations.

Client Engagement and Promotion

  • Visit veterinary clinics and hospitals according to a planned call frequency to promote and detail products to veterinary practitioners.

  • Present product benefits and usage effectively to encourage veterinarians to recommend these products to their patients.

Market Intelligence and Analysis

  • Consolidate information on external movement conduct competitor analysis and examine market trends providing recommendations for product positioning and communication strategies.

  • Gather and analyze feedback from the veterinary community to inform product release and marketing strategies.

Product Release Support

  • Support product launches by providing necessary market insights such as target consumer needs and consumption patterns.

  • Ensure alignment of marketing materials with the scientific data provided to veterinary professionals.

Product Development Updates

  • Regularly update progress on product development and post-launch activities in Pre-New Product Development (NPD) meetings and provide weekly updates to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product capabilities.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement

  • Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support corporate projects and initiatives enhancing the credibility and visibility of company products.

  • Foster relationships with KOLs to gain insights on industry trends incorporating their perspectives into strategy development.

Training and Development

  • Act as a speaker for internal and external training sessions delivering high-quality educational content related to products.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in veterinary science Healthcare or another science-related field is a must.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the healthcare business with a focus on veterinary products vet nurses preferred.

  • Excellent convincing influencing negotiation and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.

  • Committed and detail-oriented with a strong service mindset ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Proficient in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.

  • Fluency in the local language and ideally in English both written and spoken.
