Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Specialist Events (APAC) this role supports the planning delivery and reporting of all third-party and company-hosted events (in-person and virtual) across the APAC region.
The role works closely with commercial teams marketing and external partners to deliver events on time within budget and aligned to business objectives. Success in this role requires the ability to independently manage project management and stakeholder coordination across markets cultures and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the APAC Events calendar planning reporting and internal communications
- Plan coordinate and execute events from briefing through to completion ensuring adherence to Events Marketing and Compliance standards
- Act as a key liaison between internal and external partners (e.g. venues suppliers third-party organisers and internal teams)
- Build and manage event campaigns across channels (e.g. website Cvent ON24 Microsoft Dynamics and LinkedIn)
- Ensure all deliverables meet corporate branding and compliance requirements
- Manage timelines stakeholder inputs and approval processes to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Support on-site event setup attendee management and logistics
Knowledge and Experience
- 35 years experience in B2B event management (both hosted and third-party events)
- Demonstrated success managing internal stakeholders and third-party relationships
- Experience managing contracting budgets and approvals
- Experience using event platforms (Cvent ON24) and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience working in cross-matrix organizations with cross-functional teams including Commercial Marketing Legal and Compliance
- Exposure to financial services preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
- Fluency in an additional Asian language is an advantage
- Ability to work adjusted hours or travel for events if required
