Duty Engineer (Hotel JEN Tanglin)

We are looking for a Duty Engineer to join our team

Your Primary Role
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and equipment. Provide guests and colleagues with a safe efficient and comfortable environment.

As an Duty Engineer we rely on you to

• • Conducts regular inspections preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.

  • Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding engineering or maintenance issues.

  • Monitor and operate key systems i.e. Fire Alarm System Building Management System (BMS) and report irregularities.

  • Carry out troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and system failures.

  • Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental regulations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

  • Supervise external/internal contractors and vendors during maintenance or repair works.

  • Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability practices in the property.

  • Assist in training and guiding junior engineering team members.

  • Be on standby duty as rostered handling urgent & emergency situations efficiently.
