Job Description:

The Instruments Introduction & Deployment Analyst for APAC DS plays a pivotal role in enabling a compliant capital-efficient profitable growth for the $1B APAC DPS business by establishing & deploying the instruments tagging processes & tools. This role is accountable for designing and deploying a best-in-class instruments tagging process that ensures full visibility & tracking of Instruments which will accelerate revenue recognition reduce working capital and optimize service levels for customers.

The position requires strong cross-functional leadership technical understanding of instrument lifecycle management and experience in deployment programs within regulated medical device environments.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

The Introduction & Deployment Analyst is responsible for planning coordinating and executing the rollout of instrument tagging solutions across DPS instrument portfolios. This role ensures successful implementation of tracking technologies (e.g. RFID UDI barcoding) supports operational integration and drives adoption across manufacturing supply chain field operations and hospital environments.

1. Program Leadership & Deployment Execution

  • Lead end-to-end deployment of instrument tagging solutions across orthopaedic product lines.

  • Develop and manage rollout plans timelines budgets and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate pilot programs and phased regional implementations.

  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality requirements (MDR UDI compliance).

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with tagging implementation.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Quality Regulatory Finance Supply Chain IT and Commercial teams.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for tagging-related deployment activities.

  • Support field teams and hospital customers during adoption.

3. Technical & Operational Integration

  • Oversee integration of tagging technology into instrument manufacturing processes.

  • Ensure compatibility with ERP inventory management and surgical asset tracking systems.

  • Define data standards serialization strategies and traceability frameworks.

  • Define post deployment process for compliant management & maintenance of tagging.

4. Change Management & Training

  • Develop training materials and deployment playbooks for internal teams and customers.

  • Lead cross functional workshops and training sessions.

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure adoption and compliance.

5. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Define KPIs for tagging deployment (traceability accuracy scan compliance asset visibility loss reduction).

  • Monitor implementation performance and recommend process improvements.

  • Support post-launch issue resolution and optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Operations Management Information Systems Life Sciences Business or a related field required

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations Engineering Program Management Deployment or Process Excellence roles.

  • Experience leading regional or global deployment programs and cross-functional projects.

  • Experience implementing asset tracking RFID barcoding serialization or digital traceability solutions is highly preferred.

  • Experience within Medical Devices Healthcare Life Sciences Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing or other regulated industries preferred.

  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
