Job Summary

Are you a strategic distribution leader with deep expertise in retail wealth bancassurance and intermediary partnerships This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia by developing and expanding relationships with leading financial institutions retail banks and financial advisory this role you will play a key part in accelerating Manulifes retail wealth distribution strategy enhancing intermediary capabilities and identifying growth opportunities across investment and wealth solutions. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that support the continued growth of our business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop new partnerships with major financial institutions leveraging Manulifes broader enterprise relationships to deepen strategic engagement.

  • Manage and strengthen retail and intermediary relationships with a particular focus on key bancassurance partners retail banks distribution platforms and financial advisory firms.

  • Develop and execute strategies and tactical plans to accelerate channel growth and expand market share.

  • Enhance intermediary capabilities by implementing tools training programs and disciplined sales management processes leveraging global resources and best practices.

  • Expand distribution opportunities across multiple product categories and collaborate closely with bancassurance teams to maximize share of wallet across mutual fund pension insurance and wealth solutions.

  • Provide market and distribution insights to support strategic product development opportunities and evolving investor needs.

  • Partner with key stakeholder groups including Legal Compliance Marketing Operations and other internal teams to support business growth objectives.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders including retail banking partners regulators and other market participants.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of leadership experience with a proven track record in fund distribution partnership development preferably within wealth and asset management banking or insurance organizations.

  • Strong knowledge of equities fixed income multi-asset and solutions-based investment products.

  • Deep understanding of mutual fund market trends competitive dynamics and investor preferences.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Singapore and Southeast Asia retail wealth and intermediary distribution markets.

  • Established relationships with key stakeholders across retail banking institutions and distribution networks.

  • Strong understanding of business development processes distribution strategy and intermediary investment market frameworks.

  • Knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements relevant to intermediary and investment distribution businesses.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and grow market share through intermediary channels.

  • Strong stakeholder management influencing and relationship-building skills.

  • High integrity strong ethical standards and the ability to operate effectively in a global matrix environment.

  • University degree or equivalent academic qualification.
