Deployed AI Engineer
Job Summary
SGX Group operates Singapores securities and derivatives exchange. The Deployed AI Engineer sits within the AI & Automation Engineering team and is embedded in a business unit responsible for delivering AI use cases that address that units needs. Working closely with business stakeholders this role translates business problems into technical solutions using SGXs shared AI services and platforms. This is a Singapore-based role.
Own delivery of AI use cases end to end for an assigned business unit from requirements through to production
Partner with business stakeholders and Technical Product Owner to define prioritize and scope use case requirements
Assess use case risk materiality and apply the required controls including human-in-the-loop design for medium and high-risk use cases
Own post-deployment monitoring and ongoing performance of delivered use cases
Run user training and drive adoption within the business unit
Own use case documentation governance records and measured outcomes (time saved process improvement adoption)
Provide structured feedback to the Shared AI Services and Platform team on platform capabilities product gaps and reusable patterns to support continuous improvement and benefit broader AI use cases
Proven software engineering experience in Python REST APIs cloud services and modern integration patterns with the ability to build and ship production-grade applications
Hands-on experience delivering solutions with LLMs and RAG pipelines
Proven ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and to agree scope with non-technical stakeholders
Experience conducting risk assessments and applying governance frameworks in a regulated environment
Track record of delivering technical work embedded in a business-facing team
Experience delivering in a specific business domain ideally capital markets
