Cost Product Expert A4 Volume and SMB LaserJet R&D

Description -

• Lead strategic initiatives to reduce product costs across hardware mechanical electrical firmware manufacturing logistics packaging and supply chain domains.
• Identify and drive high-impact cost reduction opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish cost roadmaps and savings targets aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership in balancing cost performance quality reliability and customer experience requirements.
• Lead value engineering activities to eliminate unnecessary complexity and reduce overall product cost.
• Evaluate trade-offs and recommend solutions that maximize business value while minimizing risk.
• Partner with R&D Supply Chain Procurement Finance Manufacturing Quality and Product Management teams to execute cost reduction programs.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders with differing priorities and objectives.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Typically 8 years of experience in product development value engineering cost engineering sourcing manufacturing or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable product cost reductions and business impact.
• Experience working in a global matrixed organization is preferred.
• Experience in printing imaging consumer electronics or technology product development is highly desirable.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering programs assets and cost reduction initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
