The Opportunity
As Teneo continues to grow its operations in Asia-Pacific we are looking for a highcalibrecandidate to join our dynamic and professional Strategy and Communications team as a Consultant based in the firms Singapore office.
As aConsultant you willbe responsible forproviding the highest quality of research and insight to support our advisory offering to our diverse set of will support a wide range of activityto deliver the firms core capabilities which include communications strategy media relationscrisis managementtransaction communicationsinvestor relationsESG advisory market and industry research and government relations

Responsibilities:
As a Consultant with the Strategy and Communications team your role will include:
- Research and analysis conduct desktop research and analysis tocontextualisemarket geopolitical and/ orbusiness trendsand understand how it mayimpactclients areasofstrategic supportmay includeindustry and peerbenchmarkingandpreparation ofreportsand insights forsenior leadership and Boardlevel executives.
- Horizonscanning keep abreast of current trends news and developments in thepublic domain whichinclude proactive mediamonitoringandevaluateimpacton clients.
- Stakeholder managementBuild understanding and lists ofstakeholdertargetsto support client account work which may include but not limited tojournalistsinfluencersanalystsand investors.
- Content development contribute to the creation of compelling and impactful content for various communications channels including traditional media digital and social media. Collaborate with colleagues to develop client ready documentsto support messaging executive materials and campaign support.
- Account supportassistthe wider account team in managing client relationship by providing support during client meetingsdevelopingandmaintainingclient communication materials taking notes updating project trackers and helping to ensure all client needs are met ina timelyand satisfactory manner.
- Supporting new business development- supporting senior members of the team with new business research and developing insights to support the proposal building process.
Furthermore you will be expected to:
- Build strong client and team relationships;
- Provide support and insight to your client teams proactively highlighting opportunities and potential areas of concern;
- Build a strong network of effectivestakeholderrelationships internally and externally; and
- Proactivelyseekformal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorsdegree ideally in business journalism communications public policyfinanceoreconomics. A postgraduate degree is an advantage
- 1-2 years experienceincorporateor financialcommunicationsjournalismbanking/financial services managementconsultingor public policy is preferable;
- Possessing excellent verbal and writtenskills in English
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills includingproficiencyin PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Additionallanguage capabilities in Chinese or BahasaIndonesia or Bahasa Malaysiawould beadvantageous
- Experience withAI toolsandsocial media platform management (LinkedInXRedditetc.)isan added advantage
- International experience (study and/or work) a plus
- A strong interest in geopolitics macroeconomic drivers and financial markets
- Candidate needsto be confidentmatureand entrepreneurial spirit can-do attitude andbeing ateam player is essential
- Must display a strong work ethichigh standardsand commitment to the role
