The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide Company Secretary services to QBE subsidiary companies boards board committees and relevant executive committees while supporting the organisation in developing implementing and maintaining its governance and compliance strategy.

Your New Role
Assist in managing the delivery of Company Secretarial activities throughout the region (with a focus on Hong Kong and Singapore) to ensure the business meets legal governance and best practice requirements and compliance with applicable laws regulations and corporate policies.
Develop and review the processes and operation of the relevant boards and board committees to ensure effective operation.
Ensure the business complies with its corporate statutory duties.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide recommendations on relevant legislative provisions
legal research and analysis and prepare written and verbal opinions as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records including board resolutions legal agreements and other important documents with support from the Company Secretarial team.
About You
Significant experience in regional Company Secretarial activities
Experience in developing and implement an appropriate regulatory compliance program to meet legal obligations.
Prepare for board and shareholder meetings ensuring timely delivery of papers and reports.
Provide advice to the business on interpretation impact and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
