Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

With the recent establishment of the CIS domain key priorities are to grow the opportunity pipeline in Singapore then in the other Asian countries in Public Sector Defense FinTech and in Security. Reinforce the existing organization by defining the competence matrix to increase the maturity and secure projects delivery. Manage Bids & Projects locally and to increase expertise and maturity levels for product delivery based on the CIS Business Line/BL Portfolio

Commercial Ramp-up:

Focus on new business development and growing the CIS business in Singapore and breaking-into other Asian countries. Open opportunities in the country qualify them in coordination with Country Sales team Key Account Managers before transferring the capture to sales

Projects Execution:

  • Ensure all CIS projects in Asia are delivered on time within budget with quality to the satisfaction of both customers and Thales internal stakeholders

  • Implement appropriate project execution monitoring framework to ensure risks and issues are detected early and necessary corrective actions are put in place at the earliest. This includes managing escalations when necessary.

  • Maximizing cash collection is a prime consideration at all times

  • All of the above respecting new group governance rules

Customer Satisfaction:

Implement appropriate support and service activities to manage deployed system at customer

Bids and proposals:

  • Ensure local bids and proposals are delivered in time are as optimized as possible (technical solution costs industrial structure).

  • Contribute to improving hit rate in Asia

  • Support the CIS Engineering teams to drive for product delivery

  • Increase Engineering competitiveness through better tools & structure

  • Increase scope of local Engineering activities performed in Singapore

Team transformation:

  • Lead and execute team transformation

  • Team capability engagement and performance

  • Drive operational excellence and strategic technology delivery

Stakeholders Management:

  • Lead manage coach and develop CIS team

  • Actively engage CIS BL senior Key Stakeholders to facilitate all interactions between local teams BL stakeholders in Europe and organization

  • In coordination with the country directors & KAMs/ SAM Engage with senior client stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction and establish trusted advisor relationships


Requirements (education & behavioral)

  • University degree in relevant discipline

  • Track record in large and complex projects implementation (incl systems integration scope).

  • Proven track record in business development (in Asia is a plus)

  • Inter-personal ability is a must to build good rapport and trust with colleagues partners and customers

  • Strong leadership skills hands-on personal style

  • Results-oriented customer-focused strategic analytical good team spirit excellent communication & writing skills

  • Team player who is hungry (sense of urgency) humble & aware

  • Able to work in a multi-national matrix company structure with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience working in Asia is a plus.
