Business Development Manager
Job Summary
WhiteCoat is Singapores leading digital healthcare provider delivering ondemand telemedicine services to nearly two million people. Our seamless healthcare solution covers diagnosis treatment prescription and delivery and we partner with insurers corporates healthcare providers and pharmaceutical firms across Southeast Asia. As we accelerate our regional expansion we are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive growth in Singapore and Malaysia.
As the Business Development Manager for Singapore you will own and drive business development activities for WhiteCoat. Working closely with the Singapore Country Manager you will identify and secure new partnerships expand our service portfolio and grow existing client relationships. This is a strategic and handson role that requires strong commercial acumen relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to lead deals from prospecting through to close.
Strategic Partnership & Growth
Understand the market landscape product offerings and growth opportunities.
Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for Singapore aligning with market growth targets.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying sourcing and qualifying new client accounts and partnership opportunities through outbound prospecting networking and market research.
Ideate on potential leads and suggest new business avenues to unlock untapped market segments.
Account Growth & Relationship Management
Collaborate with the account management team to identify upselling and crossselling opportunities within existing client relationships.
Lead engagements with clients through presentations meetings and events to drive adoption and utilisation of WhiteCoats services.
Work closely with internal teams (product marketing operations) to customise partnership proposals and ensure seamless execution of deals.
Market Intelligence & Process Development
Monitor industry trends competitive landscape and customer needs; share insights with leadership to inform business development strategy.
Develop and implement sales processes structures and best practices to standardise prospecting qualification proposals and deal closure.
Prepare regular pipeline revenue and performance reports for leadership highlighting opportunities and potential challenges.
5 years of business development or partnerships experience ideally within healthcare insurance or related industries.
Proven track record of independently closing complex B2B deals and building strategic partnerships.
Strong communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills; ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
Strategic thinker with handson execution capabilities; comfortable building market plans pitching and driving deals to completion.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools; strong analytical skills for forecasting and performance tracking.
Experience in healthcare or insurance (telehealth hospitals pharmaceuticals clinical services or healthtech platforms) is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in spoken Mandarin is required for effectively liaising with local partners and clients.
