Job Summary
Coordinate daily cargo handling activities and produce accurate operational paperwork.
Preserve cargo quality and quantity through consistent checks and proper handling practices.
Execute cargo loading ex-bunker deliveries blending and final delivery in line with company procedures and SS648:2024 where applicable.
Apply custody control measures for onboard cargo storage and all cargo transfer movements.
Track and reconcile inventory onboard updating the stock movement logbook promptly.
Compile and submit daily ROB reports with timely precise figures.
Escalate customer complaints or disputes to the Operations Manager without delay.
Support onboard fact-finding and investigations related to cargo issues and discrepancies.
Maintain orderly documentation and ensure records are audit-ready at all times.
Perform additional vessel/operations tasks as assigned to support smooth turnaround.
- Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR48) and Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS648:2024).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a bunker clerk/cargo officer onboard bunker tankers.
- Working knowledge of cargo custody control inventory recording and compliance-led documentation; willing to work shifts and stay onboard when required.
- Strong communication skills with a detail-focused responsible and follow-through mindset.
Required Skills:
