Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Associate to join our esteemed Disputes group in Singapore. This role presents an unparalleled opportunity to work within a white-collar crime defense practice and engage with complex cutting-edge legal challenges on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist on a diverse portfolio of US regulatory issues including anti-corruption and bribery AML sanctions as well as internal and government investigations.
- Provide strategic legal advice to our esteemed clientele ensuring their needs are addressed with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
- Draft review and manage the filing of legal documents ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Represent clients effectively in negotiations mediations and arbitrations striving for outcomes that align with their best interests.
- Work collaboratively with partners and peers within the practice to foster a cohesive and innovative team environment.
- Contribute to the mentoring and professional development of junior associates nurturing the next generation of legal talent.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current legal practices and developments and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the firm.
Qualifications :
- 1 - 4 years post-qualification experience in US regulatory issues and investigations matters preferably with a reputable law firm.
- US qualification.
- A robust academic record in law demonstrating a commitment to legal excellence.
- A proven ability to navigate and resolve complex legal issues with a strategic and analytical approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Resilience under pressure with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and delivering results.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong emphasis on teamwork and the collective success of the practice.
