Assistant Vice President, SXO Market Operations

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join the Securities Exchange Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting Singapores capital markets ecosystem while leading operational excellence process transformation and strategic initiatives across securities listing trading and clearing and settlement.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of securities market operations regulations systems and processes. An innovative and solutions-oriented leader the candidate will drive operational resilience manage key stakeholder relationships and contribute to the continued development of SGXs securities market infrastructure and services.

• Lead the effective execution and governance of daily exchange operations across listings and trading clearing and settlement corporate actions and issuer/member support.
• Provide leadership during market incidents production events and key operational activities within a 24-hour operating environment.
• Drive process reviews and operational improvements through automation digitalisation and enhanced controls.
• Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to support new products market enhancements and platform development.
• Partner closely with regulators issuers members vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and market integrity.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Support talent development provide coaching to team members and contribute to building a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience in securities market operations exchange operations capital markets banking or brokerage environments.
• Strong understanding of securities markets listings trading practices trade lifecycle processes clearing and settlement corporate actions exchange rules and market infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects influence stakeholders and drive change across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AI SQL VBA Python Power BI data analytics or automation technologies will be advantageous.
