Assistant Manager International Recruitment

James Cook University (JCU) Singapore is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Assistant Manager Student Recruitment (Singapore Local Transfer) to expand our local transfer student market and strengthen partnerships with key education stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about higher education enjoys building long-term partnerships and is committed to helping students achieve their academic aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment targets for Singapore local transfer students.
• Build manage and strengthen relationships with local education agents pathway providers private education institutions and other strategic partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned education agents providing training programme updates marketing support and admissions guidance.
• Conduct regular visits to partner organisations and organise recruitment activities including seminars workshops campus tours livestream and networking events.
• Provide professional course counselling and advise prospective students on programme offerings admission requirements scholarships and career pathways.
• Work closely with Admissions Marketing Academic Schools and Student Services to ensure a seamless student recruitment and enrolment experience.
• Analyse market trends monitor recruitment performance and identify new partnership opportunities to grow the Singapore local transfer market.
• Prepare recruitment reports maintain accurate student/agent management records and provide regular market insights to support business planning.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in student recruitment business development partnership management or the higher education sector.
• Strong understanding of Singapores higher education landscape and local transfer pathways.
• Experience working with education agents or institutional partners will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent relationship management communication presentation and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• A highly collaborative individual and an excellent team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and systems.
