Assistant Manager Deputy Manager (Engineering Components & Services Procurement)

As part of the PSA Singapore Procurement team you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of engineering related components and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with user departments to define tender strategies that meet PSAs requirements for cost effectiveness and quality.
• Prepare robust tender documents with clear and detailed specifications
• Draft and finalize contracts that clearly articulate deliverables contractors responsibilities and liabilities and safeguard PSAs interests
• Conduct comprehensive evaluation of proposals and lead negotiations to secure commercially and contractually sound agreements.
• Complete tenders on time and perform post-contract management with internal stakeholders ensuring suppliers meet their contractual obligations
• Identify and manage risks that may arise during the contract tenure
• Cultivate effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive procurement excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Possess a degree with at least 3 to 4 years of experience in sourcing and procurement
• Proficient understanding of strategic sourcing tendering process contract management contract negotiation and contract governance
• Strong analytical skills and able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills effective influencing skills and skilled in contract negotiations
• Able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders so as to meet PSAs business needs
• Resourceful driven and able to drive innovation champion change and work collaboratively to achieve results
• Experience with e-procurement software/ platforms preferred (for e.g. Ariba Coupa Oracle Zycus etc.)
• Those with CIPS certification will have an added advantage
