Job Title: Application Lead

About the Role:
Our client is a reputable and established organization in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting mission-critical administrative venue and smart-facility systems that impact thousands of users daily. The role will work closely with the user community external vendors and other stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Management
2. Project Management:
.

Accountable for the overall successful delivery of projects.
.

Manages procurement including amongst others preparation and publishing tender specifications evaluating and recommending potential solutions and/or vendors contract management etc.
.

Liaises closely with business users and vendors.
.

Manages project teams to ensure optimization of manpower resources while maintaining healthy team morale.
3. Maintenance and Support:
.

Accountable for the overall successful provision of on-going application maintenance and support to ensure SLAs are met.
.

Handles audit queries and ensures audit and security compliance are met.
.

Works closely with business users in annual IT project planning and enhancement prioritization.

Qualifications:
.

Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent.
.

At least 20 years within the IT industry inclusive of 6 years in a technical role and 10 years’ experience in project management.
.

Public-sector procurement or formal tender processes exposure is an advantage.
.

Able to play the Scrum Master role in managing agile projects familiarity with Dining Retail & Hospitality Facilities Booking Visitor Management systems knowledge of IoT Video Analytics Smart cities solutions will be a strong advantage.
.

Good grasp of IT technologies methodologies architectures and best practices.
.

Strong business process and analytical skills coupled with strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
.

Certification in PMP or CITPM will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

Experience Level: 20 years total in the IT industry including at least 6 years in a technical role and 10 years specifically in project management. Core Competencies: IT project management application maintenance and support stakeholder management vendor management and audit/security compliance. Methodologies & Frameworks: Agile project delivery acting as Scrum Master and familiarity with IT technologies architectures and best practices. Domain & Systems Familiarity: Corporate administration campus/facility amenities housing/tenancy space and venue booking dining retail hospitality visitor management IoT video analytics and smart city solutions. Procurement & Tender Experience: Public-sector procurement preparing/publishing tender specifications vendor evaluation and contract management. Certifications: PMP or CITPM. Education: Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent. Public-sector procurement or formal tender processes exposure is an advantage.
