As anAPAC Payments Operations Control Vice Presidentin Operations Control Management team you will lead the development and execution of an enhanced control framework that supports continuous and integrated risk assessment. You will drive top-down risk analysis strengthen control monitoring and support timely detection escalation root-cause analysis and remediation of control issues. You will collaborate closely with partners across operations legal compliance risk audit regulators and technology controls to improve outcomes and support safe business growth. You will work in a culture that values accountability partnership and continuous improvement.

You will be a trusted leader for controls across payments operations helping teams adopt sound change management and consistent evaluation practices. Your work will improve visibility into key risk indicators and performance metrics enabling earlier issue identification and stronger governance. You will help reduce financial loss regulatory exposure and reputational risk through disciplined execution and clear stakeholder engagement. Job responsibilities

  • Build a proactive risk and control culture across payments operations through consistent evaluation and strong change management practices
  • Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the payments operations control framework and integrated risk assessment approach
  • Deliver end-to-end execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment including identifying control gaps and driving resolution plans
  • Analyze key risk indicators and key performance indicators to identify trends inform priorities and support business strategies
  • Drive timely control issue detection escalation root-cause analysis and remediation tracking
  • Partner with stakeholders across business operations legal compliance risk audit regulators and technology controls to align on risk decisions and outcomes
  • Provide clear updates and insights to senior management to support prioritization and resource decisions
  • Embed consistent documentation governance routines and control testing practices to strengthen transparency and accountability
  • Influence control improvements across teams beyond direct reporting lines and deliver outcomes under tight deadlines

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of payments products business and operations
  • Strong knowledge of risk and control management concepts including designing and executing a Risk and Control Self-Assessment with business partners
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills including the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience aligning across diverse senior partners
  • Ability to analyze and interpret program data including key risk indicators and key performance indicators
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio)

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Experience in controls audit quality assurance risk management or compliance
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring talent
