Accounts Executive Entity Finance

1-Year Contract


JOB FUNCTION

The Accounts Executive Entity Finance is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of approximately 35 assigned legal entities including those operating in Singapore Malaysia and Indonesia.


The role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records timely month-end closing financial reporting reconciliations tax and statutory compliance support and payroll-related finance activities.


The role works closely with the Finance Manager / Financial Controller Global Revenue Controller Global Cost Controller and People Operations to ensure entity-level financial information is accurate complete and submitted in accordance with Group requirements.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Entity Accounting & Financial Closing

Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned entities including general ledger maintenance journal entries accruals prepayments provisions reconciliations and month-end and year-end closing.


Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly entity-level financial statements and supporting schedules including profit and loss balance sheet cash flow and working capital reporting and provide financial information required for Group reporting and consolidation.


Revenue & Cost Accounting

Work with the Global Revenue Controller and Global Cost Controller to ensure revenue and cost transactions are accurately recorded reconciled and reported and investigate discrepancies or outstanding items.


Tax & Statutory Compliance

Support corporate income tax GST/VAT withholding tax and other applicable tax and statutory requirements for assigned entities in Singapore Malaysia and Indonesia including preparation of supporting schedules and coordination with external advisers.


Accounts Payable Receivable & Working Capital

Support accounts payable accounts receivable payment processing and working capital management including monitoring aged balances and resolving outstanding items.


Intercompany Accounting

Perform intercompany reconciliations resolve differences and maintain appropriate supporting documentation for intercompany and related-party transactions.


Audit & Statutory Reporting

Support statutory audits and financial reporting requirements including preparation of audit schedules supporting documentation and coordination with external auditors tax advisers and service providers.




Budgeting & Financial Analysis

Support entity-level budgeting and forecasting including preparation of budget-versus-actual reports variance analysis and financial information required for planning.


Payroll Finance Support

Support payroll-related finance activities across assigned entities including payroll bank general ledger and statutory contribution reconciliations employee cost schedules and payroll reporting in coordination with People Operations.


Finance Controls & Process Improvement

Ensure compliance with Group finance policies and procedures maintain appropriate accounting documentation and controls and support finance process improvements reporting automation and system enhancement initiatives.



Requirements


  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy Finance or a related discipline.
  • 24 years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferably within a multi-entity or regional environment.
  • Good knowledge of accounting financial reporting month-end closing reconciliations AP/AR and intercompany accounting.
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore tax requirements; knowledge of Malaysia and Indonesia tax requirements is preferred.
  • Experience supporting statutory audits and payroll-related finance activities is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Experience with Power BI Power Automate or other reporting and automation tools is an advantage.
  • Meticulous organised and able to manage multiple entities and deadlines independently.





Required Skills:
