2027 Asset Management Summer Analyst Program Singapore

Join our flagship program and work alongside senior business leaders and industry experts to develop strategies that support our clients needs. Youll collaborate with teams that manage and distribute investment solutions across asset classes for institutions and financial intermediaries while gaining training mentoring access to senior leaders and engaging projects that build your skills.

What You Can Expect

As an Asset Management Summer Analyst in our Asset Management Summer Analyst Program you will join our nine-week program which kicks off with training and orientation to our businesses and youll gain the technical and practical knowledge so you can make an impact from the start.

The program is non-rotational providing you with an opportunity to develop solid relationships with your desk/team and get involved in real-time projects. Be prepared to be flexible learn quickly and act on your judgements. Theres a lot to absorb but youll benefit from the support of dedicated staff member to help you integrate into your team and to answer any questions you might have throughout the summer.

The program is an opportunity to take your career to the next level through hands-on experience relevant skills training and valuable professional networking. As it is a pipeline for future graduate opportunities based on your individual performance and achievements those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment with the firm.

You may be placed in one of the below teams for your nine-week Summer Internship (non-exhaustive list subject to business needs):

• Alternatives: We provide a spectrum of innovative investments that span across real estate real assets private equity private credit hedge funds and liquid alternatives which can play a key role in generating new sources of return and portfolio diversification to meet our investors return objectives.
• Equities: We manage a broad range of equity investment strategies globally with dedicated portfolio managers research analysts and traders who have expertise in helping clients of all sizes.
• Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs):We deliver JPMAMs US and UCITS ETFs to clients in the Asia Pacific region and help to build out local ETF platforms in select markets.
• Fixed Income: We manage a broad range of fixed income investment strategies including fixed income currency & commodities through a globally integrated research-driven fixed income organisation.
• Distribution & Sales:We drive sales and client retention by advising institutional asset owners and intermediary channels while gaining broad exposure to asset classes and investment professionals throughout the firm.
• Market Insights:We provide clients and client advisors with the knowledge and investment education to make better informed investment decisions through our industry-leading resource the Guide to the Markets.
• Multi-Asset Solutions: We utilize capital markets investing strategic asset allocation portfolio construction and risk management to develop portfolio solutions for our clients.
• Product Strategy:We shape and position our entire global product range across all asset classes (equities fixed income liquidity multi-asset and alternatives) working across all investment and sales teams.
• Sustainable Investing: We partner with our global investment and distribution teams to develop dedicated ESG research and thought leadership

Job Responsibilities:

You can expect to make an impact by but not limited to

• Assisting with client sales and retention or investment specialist teams while gaining broad exposure to asset classes and investment professionals throughout the firm
• Working with strategists and investment specialist teams to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and conduct market research
• Learning about asset allocation strategies and identifying investment capabilities across traditional and alternative strategies to meet our clients investment objectives.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

A strong interest in finance and asset management is essential as are logical thinking and quantitative skills flexibility teamwork excellent attention to detail strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment. A well-rounded academic background is important. You certainly dont need a degree in Economics or Finance but a good level of numeracy is required.

Additional requirements include:

• A strong interest in finance and asset management with a well rounded academic background
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment
• A good level of numeracy (degree in Economics or Finance not required)
• Excellent attention to detail logical thinking and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Great organizational and project management skills ability to multitask
• Strong initiative able to be proactive great energy and confidence
• Good judgment and discretion working with confidential information
• Expected graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028 (inclusive) from a bachelors program
• Availability for full-time internship from June to August 2027
