Resident Inspector

Overview

Resident Inspectors will conduct visual inspections on Rail stations and trains to monitor document and test operation & maintenance activities conducted by contractors. This role involves detailed reporting and verifying the accuracy of the contractors completed surveys. Resident Inspectors will ensure that their work aligns with A procedures and complements the contractors requirements. Additionally they will collaborate with contractors to ensure that all inspections and documentation meet established standards and effectively contribute to the overall quality and compliance of the project.

Your role

• Perform continuous onsite visual inspections on Riyadh metro stations and trains
• Monitor and evaluate the operation and maintenance activities performed by the contractors.
• Conduct tests when necessary to assess the performance of operation and maintenance activities
• Observe and note defects damages or nonconforming conditions using photos and/or video recordings to provide comprehensive condition surveys and supporting evidence
• Prepare detailed reports on metro stations and trains conditions.
• Adhere to procedures to ensure all inspections meet project and regulatory requirements.

• Minimum 2-year college degree
• Knowledge of maintenance standards and regulations
• Strong skills in written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Experience in performance monitoring and quality control
• Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in Operation & Maintenance inspection in railway is preferred
