Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Manage Day-to-Day Accounting Activities

As an Accounts Executive you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that all accounting transactions are properly recorded and monitored.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recording daily financial transactions such as sales purchases receipts payments and journal entries.
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with monthly quarterly and annual closing activities.
  • Ensuring all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Invoicing and Customer Receivables

You will support the invoicing and collection process to ensure healthy cash flow and timely customer payments.

Key duties include:

  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices based on project requirements and contractual agreements.
  • Recording customer payments and updating financial records.
  • Monitoring outstanding receivables and following up on overdue payments.
  • Coordinating with regional offices and clients regarding collections and payment confirmations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of invoicing and payment activities.

ERP System and Project Administration

This position requires active involvement in managing financial information within the companys ERP platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working extensively with Odoo ERP or similar accounting systems.
  • Registering customers vendors and projects within the system.
  • Creating and maintaining project budgets.
  • Updating project-related financial information and documentation.
  • Preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) reviewing quotations and supporting purchase order processing.
  • Monitoring project financial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining proper records of project invoices budgets and payment schedules.

Financial Analysis and Budget Monitoring

You will assist management by providing valuable financial insights and helping monitor project and departmental performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing monthly field payments and project expenses.
  • Comparing actual expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Preparing project-wise branch-wise and departmental financial reports.
  • Supporting budget preparation and forecasting activities.
  • Identifying cost variances and highlighting areas requiring management attention.
  • Assisting department heads with financial planning and budget control.

Accounts Payable and Expense Management

The role also involves ensuring that supplier payments and company expenses are properly managed.

You will be expected to:

  • Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursement claims.
  • Verify supporting documents and approvals before payment processing.
  • Maintain supplier records and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely settlement of vendor payments.
  • Monitor and track outstanding supplier balances.

Financial Reporting

Accurate reporting is a critical part of this role. You will assist in generating reports that support strategic business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Generating Profit & Loss Statements Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Reports.
  • Preparing project profitability and costing reports.
  • Assisting management with financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Providing financial information and reports as required by senior management.

Taxation and Compliance

The Accounts Executive will play an important role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with VAT return preparation and submission for Middle East entities.
  • Supporting GST filing and compliance requirements in India.
  • Calculating and processing withholding tax obligations where applicable.
  • Maintaining tax records and supporting documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating with auditors tax consultants and regulatory authorities when required.

Audit Support

You will work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing audit schedules and supporting documents.
  • Assisting with statutory audits tax audits and compliance reviews.
  • Ensuring financial records are complete accurate and audit-ready.
  • Supporting the implementation of internal controls and financial procedures.

Collaboration and Business Support

Success in this role requires strong communication and teamwork.

You will:

  • Work closely with finance teams across India and the Middle East.
  • Coordinate with project managers operations teams procurement teams and department heads.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ERP system enhancements.
  • Assist management with special projects and additional assignments as required.


Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA CMA CPA CA or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in accounting finance auditing taxation or financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles financial reporting taxation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with Middle East accounting practices will be highly preferred.
  • Excellent accounting and financial management skills.

Required Skills:

Qualification: MBA/PGDM from reputed B-school. Experience: 20 years in corporate sales institutional leasing or real estate investment. Requirements: Proven success in closing large deals and strong industry networks. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
