Job Summary
We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry to support tendering cost estimation and proposal preparation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFQs tenders and project specifications to understand bid requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals quotations BOQs and cost estimates.
- Develop treatment process solutions based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers fabricators and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare technical specifications submittals clarifications and preliminary control philosophies.
- Support sales and engineering teams during pre-sales and project handover stages.
- Maintain vendor supplier and proposal databases.
- Ensure accurate competitive and timely submission of proposals.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients consultants and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Mechanical Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Proposal Engineer role.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of treatment systems RO pumps filters tanks vessels and related equipment.
- Experience in tender review cost estimation BOQ preparation and quotation development.
- Strong commercial awareness and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication coordination and documentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and proposal documentation tools.
