Proposal Engineer Water Treatment

We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry to support tendering cost estimation and proposal preparation activities.

• Review RFQs tenders and project specifications to understand bid requirements.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals quotations BOQs and cost estimates.
• Develop treatment process solutions based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers fabricators and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare technical specifications submittals clarifications and preliminary control philosophies.
• Support sales and engineering teams during pre-sales and project handover stages.
• Maintain vendor supplier and proposal databases.
• Ensure accurate competitive and timely submission of proposals.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients consultants and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Mechanical Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Proposal Engineer role.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of treatment systems RO pumps filters tanks vessels and related equipment.
• Experience in tender review cost estimation BOQ preparation and quotation development.
• Strong commercial awareness and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication coordination and documentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and proposal documentation tools.
