As an FRA Accountant supporting our Financial Reporting & Accounting team you will be trusted to maintain accurate financial records ensure compliance with internal controls and deliver timely highquality financial reporting that supports decisionmaking across the organization.
In this role a typical day will include:
Collaborating with local and regional finance teams to ensure accurate books of accounts timely reporting and adherence to internal controls.
Maintaining financial accounting records in SAP and Excel verifying daily transactions and ensuring data integrity.
Preparing and supporting internal and external financial reports including actuals budgets forecasts cash flow and management reporting.
Ensuring compliance with SOX AFCM and local tax regulations supporting audits and maintaining required documentation.
Performing balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts fixed assets and supplier confirmations ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA ACCA) preferred.
Experience:
24 years in accounting or auditing ideally within a multinational environment.
Proven experience in financial controls reconciliations and process improvement.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of financial systems subledgers reporting standards and compliance requirements.
