Applications Engineer Power

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Applications Engineer - Power based in Riyadh

You will be responsible for preparation of project-specific designs and supporting technical documentation for inclusion in sales bids detailed design phases and operational projects. Coordinate engineering input across the team and provide expert technical support across project stakeholders.

What youll do as Applications Engineer - Power:

• Liaise with clients technical staff and visit potential job sites as required to verify projectneeds.

• Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineeringsolutions.

• Design power packages to suit project needs and maximize use of Aggreko fleetproducts.

• Designthe specificationofspecialistelectricalequipmentinconjunctionwithMEEngineeringteam.

• Perform power system studies such as load flow short-circuit coordination arc flash and voltage dropanalysis.

• Ensure design complies with relevant codes and standards (IEC IEEE NEC NFPA localregulations)

• Preparation of project shop drawings (single-line diagrams layout drawings and other detailed drawing required for project execution) using CAD software.

• PreparationofProjectDesignPack documentationforinclusioninsales proposals.

• Givesengineering assistanceastoOperational Projects.

• Prepare project documentation bill of materials and as-builtdrawings.

• Collaborate with Engineering Team on design support requirements for the complete project lifecycle.

You are:

• Minimum of 5 years design experience in a Power Generation/ Utility/ Oil & Gas Industry.

• ElectricalEngineeringDegree

• Fluent in English a second language would be an advantage

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong computer design skills.

• Proficient in using Autocad

• Customer Focus - understands the importance of customer needs whether internal or external focuses on responding to them and develops relationships.

• Working together with others relates to people engages and builds relationships.

• Experienceinelectricaltools/softwaresuchasETAPorDesign Paladin.

• Require travel to project locations for site visits and client meetings
