Your role
The main purpose of this role is to support OpenStack based telco cloud infrastructure.
What you will do
- Operate and maintain OpenStack compute storage and network services
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and performance issues
- Perform capacity planning scaling and lifecycle management
- Support integrations with orchestration monitoring and automation layers
- Ensure availability and resilience of NFV infrastructure
- Operate and maintain OpenStack compute storage and network services
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
- Process memory disk CPU troubleshooting
- Systemd journald log analysis
- Networking basics: ports firewalls DNS routing
- SSH SCP file permissions SELinux (basic)
- openstack CLI
- Service logs
- Prometheus (metrics basics)
- Grafana dashboards
- Alerts & thresholds
- Log analysis (Splunk / ELK / journald)
- Basic understanding of:
- MTTR
- Alert noise reduction
- Basic Ansible playbooks (run & troubleshoot)
- Shell scripting (log cleanup checks)
- Terraform awareness (read & validate not design)
- CI/CD awareness (pipelines failures)
