Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania India and Philippines providing Capability Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services in collaboration with our global businesses.

The MEPF Discipline (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection) in the GECs is comprised of cross-functional teams that contribute to the development of innovative MEPF solutions that optimize energy efficiency sustainability and occupant comfort. Our ability to effectively manage projects assess client needs and provide technical guidance is crucial in delivering successful outcomes using the most innovative way of doing computational design.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead coordinate and develop the electrical engineering team ensuring delivery of projects on time within budget and to required quality and safety standards.
  • Plan design and deliver electrical systems for buildings (lighting power distribution up to 1kV fire detection security and lowcurrent systems).
  • Oversee project execution including budgeting resource planning scheduling and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards legislation sustainability requirements and best engineering practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement through mentoring performance review BIM adoption automation and innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Low Voltage / Building Services).
  • Minimum 8 years experience in building electrical design with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong proficiency in design calculation and BIM tools (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Dialux/Relux ETAP Caneco or similar).
  • Extensive knowledge of LV electrical standards energy efficiency and sustainability regulations.
  • Advanced English proficiency strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive mindset toward professional growth and innovation.
