Job Title: General Manager Reports To Managing Director/Board of Directors Supervises All Department Heads (Operations Finance Human Resources Front Office Housekeeping Food & Beverage Maintenance Security Sales & Marketing)

Job Location: Yenagoa Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary The General Manager is responsible for the overall strategic operational and financial management of the establishment. The role ensures exceptional guest experiences profitability regulatory compliance operational efficiency and effective leadership of all departments.

The General Manager will drive business growth maintain service excellence and ensure the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue growth and profitability.
Establish operational goals budgets and performance targets.
Identify opportunities for business expansion and service enhancement.
Provide leadership and direction to departmental managers. Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.
Monitor service quality across all departments.
Ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Financial Management
Develop and manage annual budgets.
Monitor revenue expenses and profitability.
Review financial reports and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Drive cost optimisation initiatives without compromising service quality. Human Resource Management
Lead recruitment training and performance management activities.
Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Support succession planning and talent development.

Guest Relations
Ensure prompt resolution of guest complaints and concerns.
Enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements.

Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with health safety and hospitality regulations.
Maintain operational licenses and certifications.
Implement risk management and business continuity plans. Business Development
Build relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
Promote the organisations brand and reputation.
Support marketing and promotional initiatives.

Benefits

Remunerations: 400000 - 450000 Net (Non-Negotiable)
Other Benefits: HMO to be discussed leave allowance etc.



Required Skills:

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement initiatives that enhance business performance guest experience and operational efficiency. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take full responsibility for business outcomes profitability and day-to-day operations. Proven experience in sales generation business development and revenue growth within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and management experience overseeing hotel operations and cross-functional teams. Solid Food & Beverage (F&B) management experience including operational oversight revenue optimization and service excellence.


Required Education:

Minimum of HND qualification.
