Job Summary
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsibleto assist StructuralLead Engineer inon time deliveryof optimum and high quality structural design.
of performingTopside structural analysisindependently including In-place Pre-Service analysisSecondary steel andtertiary steel designspecifically FPSO Topsides.
3. Liaise with other disciplines engineers for all work related activities.
fully familiarwith department andcompany procedures ensuringall work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
understand andapply Project specifications Nationaland International Standards inthe preparation andrevision of accurateerror free non-ambiguous engineering calculations.
Tendering support which include structural steel MTO top-down estimation aswell as bottom-up method through preliminary structural analysis.
understand andapply Project orTender specifications Nationaland International standards inthe checking ofengineering calculations orreview and checking of engineering and fabrication drawings to ensure they are accurate error free and non-ambiguous.
technical guidance to junior engineers.
with engineeringsubcontractor in ensuringtimely delivery ofengineering deliverables to expected quality.
10. Goodknowledge in HSEensuring personal/team compliancewith legislation and Company policies.
11. Supportother departments andcarry out otherduties as andwhen business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by Operations Manager.
