Senior Manager, People & Culture

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager People & Culture is responsible for leading Talent Acquisition Foreign Workforce Management Employee Relations and Industrial Relations for Mattel Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (MMSB) while overseeing People & Culture operations for Mattel Development & Tooling Sdn. Bhd. (MDT). This role partners closely with business leaders to develop workforce strategies build organizational capability ensure compliance with employment legislation and foster a positive high-performing workplace culture that supports business objectives.
 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration Psychology Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive Human Resources experience with broad expertise in HR Business Partnering Talent Acquisition Talent Management Employee Relations Industrial Relations and Foreign Workforce Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or people leadership role with a proven track record of leading high-performing P&C teams and partnering with business leaders to achieve organizational objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in workforce planning end-to-end recruitment of local and foreign employees foreign workforce administration employee relations disciplinary and grievance management and liaison with relevant government authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation including the Employment Act 1955 Industrial Relations Act 1967 immigration requirements and other applicable labor laws.
• Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume operational environment with exposure to HRIS and P&C analytics.
• Strong leadership stakeholder management negotiation and conflict resolution skills with excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive organizational performance.
• High level of integrity professionalism sound judgment and discretion with a resilient and results-oriented mindset.
