Job Summary
Company Background:
Our client is an established manufacturer specializing in power transmission belt solutions for automotive industrial and agricultural applications. Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily import and export operations including shipment coordination booking and document preparation.
- Prepare and verify all trade documentation (invoices packing lists bills of lading certificates of origin etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations customs procedures and internal company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers freight forwarders and customers to monitor shipment schedules and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely submission of all trade-related documentation.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to align shipment timelines with business requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management International Trade or a related field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in import/export operations preferably within the automotive industrial or agricultural spare parts industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation Incoterms and customs clearance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent coordination communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Preferably Chinese-speaking candidates to facilitate communication with the China side.
