Job Summary

Were looking to add a/anCommodity Manager Indirectlocated in Perai Penang. To lead sourcing strategy supplier management and cost optimization across indirect spend categories

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend (e.g. MRO services CapEx support)

• Drive cost savings demand management and supplier consolidation initiatives

• Lead supplier selection contract negotiation and performance management (KPIs/QBRs)

• Partner with operations engineering finance HR and EHS to support business needs

• Ensure procurement compliance and governance (e.g. No PO No Service)

• Monitor market trends and manage supply risks and continuity plans

• Track and report savings KPIs and supplier performance metrics

• Lead and develop procurement team capability across sites.

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)

• 10 years of procurement/sourcing experience preferably in indirect categories

• Experience in multi-site or regional supplier management

• Strong track record in cost reduction negotiation and stakeholder management
