Working Student - Software Developer (Rust/Python)

Who we are

Are you a computer science student looking for a working student position and wanting to have a real impact on climate change? Then you are welcome to join STABL Energy company, which strives for sustainable energy use with its power conversion technology!

Our goal is to increase the deployment of energy storage for renewable energy by setting a new standard for battery storage. With our easy-to-integrate technology, we improve battery storage systems in terms of design, safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and handling.

Tasks

What you will do

With your support, we make the STABL technology known and spread our vision. We are currently building up our cloud infrastructure for monitoring and controlling our battery storage systems. In this way, you will help to create a platform for the next generation of battery storage systems.

Your activities include (but are not limited to):

• Development in Python to develop containerized software running in the cloud
• Embedded development with Rust
• You are part of a young, dynamic team and help us to bring our vision, mission and value proposition to the world.

You, as a Working Student - Software Developer (Rust/Python) will work together with our cloud architect and other working students to build a reliable and scaleable IoT infrastructure in the AWS cloud.

The hierarchies are flat but the learning curve is incomparably steep!

You can quickly contribute your knowledge and creativity.

Requirements

What you bring (experience & qualifications)

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• You live in Munich and are studying for a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or something similar with an emphasis on programming
• Proficient in Python and Docker
• Experience with the Rust programming language
• Having fun learning new tools and technologies
• Team player, enthusiastic, open-minded, communicative, self-driven, reliable
• Proficient in written and spoken English
