Overview:

The Weekend Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring excellent customer service over the weekend. They are responsible for managing and leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the weekend sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor and analyze weekend sales performance and strategize to maximize revenue
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any customer escalations
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and promotions for the weekend
  • Coordinate with the store manager to align weekend sales activities with overall store goals
  • Train and onboard new weekend sales associates
  • Manage inventory and ensure products are wellstocked and displayed
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the sales team
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and market trends
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create weekendspecific promotional materials
  • Report weekend sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding sales and customer interactions
  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the store on weekends
  • Handle any operational or staffing issues that may arise during the weekend
  • Drive a positive and productive work environment within the weekend sales team

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales with a focus on retail sales management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make datadriven decisions
  • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising best practices
  • Capability to handle customer escalations and resolve conflicts
  • Proficiency in sales reporting and performance evaluation
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to a dynamic retail environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree is a plus
  • Proactive and resultoriented mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with POS systems and sales software
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Understanding of retail compliance and regulatory standards
