Web Development Intern
Parttime work is possible. Shortterm contracts and freelance work are also available after internship as opportunities.
Internship program 3 months
Unpaid Internship
Responsibilities
Selected interns daytoday responsibilities include:
1. Working with HTMLCSS JS and MySQL to design develop and debug web applications.
2. Ocassionally Work on WordPress development.
3. Developing a new highly responsive and webbased user interface.
4. Integrating backend services with PHP/JavaScript based frontend needs.
5. Working with the team to manage optimize and customize multiple web applications.
6. Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
7. Developing a flexible and wellstructured frontend architecture along with the APIs to support it.
8. Monitoring the performance of the live website.
9. Boost website loading performance with SEO and Google Analytics.
Qualifications
Eligibility: Graduate/Post graduate Students of Cyber Security/Computer Science/IT from a Recognized University or Institution or equivalent.
- Enrolled in Bachelor s degree/Masters degree program currently as student.
- Freshers are also eligible to apply.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing notes and procedural materials for cases
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Working hours
A 5day working week is standard in this role but flexible working practices are common and you may need to work outside of a typical 9am to 5pm pattern.
As interns will work from home and remotely (from locations outside of the organizations workplace) youll sometimes be able to choose your working hours.
Skills
Youll need to have:
- Ability to have an indepth understanding of websites and their operation.
- Excellent spoken and written communication to explain your methods to team members.
- Attention to detail to be able to plan and execute tests while considering project requirements.
- Ethical integrity to be trusted with a high level of confidential information.
- The ability to think laterally and outside the box.
- Should be good in research and creating new designs.
- Should have knowledge of basics of computer science and related subjects.
- Candidate should document each step taken in project and write reports on the same.
- Must be a good team player and comfortable working independently.
- Capable of shuffling balancing multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities.

Your first role will typically be a web development intern.
With experience and relevant professional qualifications you can move into the role of junior web developer.
After working as a junior web developer for around one to two years you can progress into a role of senior web developer. Then with a further two to three years of experience as a senior web developer youll be considered for largerscale project leader and management roles and will also be considered to be a senior web development trainer.
With several years experience you can move into consultancy work or set up as a selfemployed web developer.
