Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Doctor. The veterinarian will be responsible for conducting comprehensive veterinary care for pets, including physical examinations, vaccinations, surgeries, dental care, and diagnostics. The Veterinarian will also be responsible for educating pet owners on animal care and welfare, and supervising the work of veterinary technicians and assistants.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Jordan
- 3-5 years experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Knowledge of animal care and welfare, including nutrition, behavior, and disease prevention
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate and develop a strong rapport with pet owners and staff
- Ability to work well in a team environment and lead a team of technicians and assistants
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Additional qualifications in specialties such as pet grooming, dentistry, or osteology are a plus
