VDOT Senior Azure ETL Developer

VDOT is looking for a Senior Azure ETL developer toingest/transform and load Data Assets and implementation of a cloudbased datamanagement platform that will support the agency.

This role is expected to take a Sr Developer role withinthe team to extract business data and load it into a data warehousingenvironment. Design and test the performance of the system. Consult withvarious teams to understand the companys data storage needs and develop datawarehousing options. Wellversed in warehousing architecture techniques such asMOLAP ROLAP ODS DM and EDW.

Qualifications

Experience in designing building and deploying scalableAzure cloudbased data solutions.

Handson experience with Azure services such as Azure DataFactory Azure Databricks Azure Data Lake Storage Azure SQL Azure Synapseand other data sources.

Handson experience in SQL Server (SSIS SSRS SSAS)ORACLE TSQL Azure SQL Database Azure SQL Datawarehouse

Handson experience in deploying and maintaininglargescale data processing pipelines.

Handson scripting experience with Windows and/or PythonLinux Shell scripting.

Experience in data analysis and provide cloud basedtechnical solutions.

Experience working on both onprem and cloudbased datasolutions.

Experience in querying and analyzing small and large datasets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.

Work with data architects data engineers businessanalysts and business teams to provide Azure data driven solutions.

Experience in Azure DevOps or ContinuousIntegration/Delivery

Wellversed with Agile practices.
